Cult label Dr. Martens opens store in Hanover
The British shoe brand Dr. Martens is moving into a new store at Georgstraße 22 in Hanover in spring 2021. Lührmann advised on the lease.
Dr. Martens continues to expand in Germany: in the last three years, the iconic brand with a long tradition has opened a total of eight flagship stores in Berlin, Dortmund, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn and Frankfurt. With the new store in Hanover, Dr. Martens will further strengthen its brand recognition and customer proximity in Germany, the company said. Germany is one of the world's most interesting markets for shoes and clothing.
‘We are very pleased that we were able to bring Dr. Martens to Hanover and support them in their search for an attractive store in a striking corner location,’ explains Andreas Grüß, Managing Director of LÜHRMANN Osnabrück. Dr. Martens is moving into the former Fossil store at Georgstraße 22 in Hanover. The British brand will sell shoes for women, men and children as well as accessories on 104 square metres of ground-floor retail space.
